How can I keep my number?

You have a SIM card of your home mobile operator and you don’t want to miss the calls to it during an international trip while wishing to save on roaming calls (both incoming and outgoing).
Let’s suppose you have a Russian SIM card with number +79261111111 and a Eurosim card with number +371 22220000. During an international trip you are planning to switch off the Russian number and receive all the calls to the Eurosim card.

Step 1
While with the Eurosim - card, dial the following command: *146*88*79261111111# then press the Call button. A message saying that the activation code has been sent to you will appear on the display. The four-digit confirmation code, e.g. 1234, will be delivered as a text message to the Russian number specified by you.

Step 2
While with the Eurosim card, dial the command once again but now with the confirmation code, e.g.
*146*88*79261111111*1234#, where 1234 s the activation code from the text message received in the Step 1. A message with the number, to which the Russian number must be forwarded, e.g. 8(800)5553038, will appear on the display.

The activation code is valid for 10 minutes, and sending the activation code is rated as a text message via the SIM menu.

Step 3
Forward your Russian number to the offered number.
There are several types of forwarding. To our opinion, the next two types are the most appropriate:

**62*number#     - forward all calls if out of reach
##62#                - cancel forwarding if out of reach
**21*number#     - forced forwarding of all calls
##21#                    - cancel the forced call forwarding

In the first case the forwarding will be activated in case you are out of reach. As you leave, you switch the main number off and the calls come to the Eurosim card. Upon your return, you switch the main number back on and the calls come as usual. To forward the calls if out of reach, dial the following command while with your Russian SIM card: **62*88005553038# and press the Call button – this will forward all calls to number 8 (800) 555 3038 in case the subscriber is out of reach. While with the Eurosim card, using service Keep the Russian Number will increase the cost of the incoming calls (coming to the Russian number). Depending on the currency of the Eurosim card, USD 0.49 or EUR 0.35 will be added to the standard rate. In case this service is used in a country, in which the incoming calls are free of charge, then only the above fee will be charged.

The rating of the calls to the primary number of the Eurosim card remains unchanged and the outgoing calls from the Eurosim are also rated in accordance with the general provisions.

The service includes the following:
1. the possibility of receiving all incoming calls that come to the Russian number;
2. display of your Russian number in the phone of the destination subscriber during an OUTGOING call.

Cancellation of the service
To cancel the service “Keep the Number”, repeat Step 1 with the Eurosim card inserted. The message saying that the “Keep the Number” service has been deactivated will appear on your phone display. Don’t forget to deactivate also the call forwarding service in the Russian SIM card.

  • White list
The system will allow incoming calls only from those numbers, which you have entered into the White List. The “allow” command.

If you wish to create the both lists, the system will process a call first in accordance with the Black List, and then – through the White List. The rule of entering a desired or undesired number in the Personal Cabinet is as follows: country code + phone number.

The conditions of execution of the “Black/White List” service
The system executes the service “Black/White List” depending on which list the number of the incoming call is stored in. The main condition for the execution of the service “Black/White List” is that the desired/undesired number must be entered into the “Incoming Number” section of the program.
The additional condition for the execution of the above mentioned service is the use of the Destination Number (one of the numbers assigned to the Eurosim card). The additional condition can be fulfilled only together with the main condition by selecting either “And” or “Or” in the “And/Or” field. “And” means that the system will process both the Incoming Number and the Destination Number. “Or” triggers the system if either the incoming number or the number of the SIM card matches the number specified in field “Incoming Number” or “Destination Number”. This function implies the presence of several numbers on the SIM card. If you don’t use the additional condition, then the “Destination Number” field must contain the “*” symbol.

It is also possible to put limitations on the service, such as by the days of the week, time, and period of validity of the list. A list can be blocked (deactivated) by checking the corresponding section.
